⚒️ Southern Hemisphere Mining Limited is pleased to report significant results from recent diamond drilling at its flagship 100%-owned Llahuin Copper-Gold-Molybdenum Project in Chile.
A total of 9 diamond tails were completed on previously drilled RC holes for 2,251m of HQ3 drillcore.
- Significant zones of copper sulphide mineralisation intersected in drilling
- 241m @ 0.42% CuEq from 18m in 24LHRD067 (incl. 143m @ 0.51% CuEq from 36m)
- 154m @ 0.66% CuEq from surface in 24LHRD065
- 156m @ 0.43% CuEq from 2m in 24LHRD055 (incl. 106m @ 0.51% CuEq from 2m)
- The results support the Company’s interpretation of a large, vertically extensive copper porphyry system
- A resource upgrade is in progress for completion once final results from all holes are received
Southern Hemisphere Chairman Mark Stowell, commented:
“The results from this program are encouraging and continue our work unlocking the scale potential of the Llahuin copper system. Results such as: 154m @ 0.66% CuEq from surface in 24LHRD065 speak for themselves this early in our advancement to deeper drilling. Mineralisation remains open at depth and supports our view that the Cerro-Ferro trend hosts a substantial copper porphyry system with significant expansion potential in line with the previously reported exploration target of 260 to 340Mt. (refer ASX announcement dated 30 July 2025).
Following completion of this drill program we will upgrade our resource at Llahuin and look forward to reporting that in due course. Southern Hemisphere is tightly held, with strong and supportive institutional and management ownership. At a market cap of around $22 million, we believe that the Company is significantly undervalued relative to the scale of the resource, the quality of the jurisdiction, and the growth we are drilling right now. Llahuin is emerging as a serious copper‑gold play.
The next phase of continued deeper drilling and resource expansion is underway as some of the larger copper operators start to recognise the serious growth options that Llahuin Copper represents.”

The mineralisation reported is well below the previously drilled RC sections and demonstrates strong continuity of the copper system at depth. The results at Ferro South (Figure 3) demonstrate that the Company has found a new porphyry centre at Llahuin and further drilling is required to define the scale of this discovery.
Importantly, the results and the intensity of veining and sulphide mineralisation suggest the Company is vectoring towards a more strongly mineralised portion of the porphyry system.
Further deep drilling at Ferro South will be designed to test for the feeder zone which has not been intersected in the current drilling which could provide significant upside to the current Ferro South resource at potentially higher grade.
A resource upgrade is in progress and will be tabulated and reported once all results from this drilling campaign are received.

These results include diamond tail extensions to previously reported results from 2023 and 2024 drill campaigns reported to ASX on 15 January 2024, 19 February 2024, 28 January 2025 and 10 February 2025.
Drillholes at Cerro also extended the mineralisation from the previously drilled RC holes with hole 24LHRD065 returning 154m @ 0.65% CuEq demonstrating deeper potential at much better than resource grade (Figures 4 & 5).
