⚒️ Southern Hemisphere Mining Limited is pleased to report further significant results from recent diamond drilling at its flagship 100%-owned Llahuin Copper-Gold-Molybdenum Project in Chile.
The drilling program was designed to test areas below 2024 RC drilling where drilling was stopped due to water ingress. All diamond drilling is HQ3 size core sampled on a half-core 2m basis and assayed at ALS Santiago Chile for gold and 48 multi-elements.
- Significant zones of copper sulphide mineralisation intersected in drilling as reported 4 August 2026:
- 241m @ 0.42% CuEq from 18m in 24LHRD067 (incl. 143m @ 0.51% CuEq from 36m)
- 154m @ 0.66% CuEq from surface in 24LHRD065
- 156m @ 0.43% CuEq from 2m in 24LHRD055 (incl. 106m @ 0.51% CuEq from 2m)
- Additional significant zones of copper sulphide mineralisation intersected as reported 1 September 2026:
- 180m @ 0.39% CuEq from surface and 30m @ 0.31% CuEq from 214m in 24LHRD056
- 170m @ 0.37% CuEq from 4m in 24LHRD048
- 102m @ 0.37% CuEq from surface in 23LHRD033 (NB previously reported) and 70m @ 0.4% CuEq from 119m
Southern Hemisphere Chairman Mark Stowell, commented:
“The initial results extending Llahuin Copper-Gold south with intersections to 241m are rewarding and proving that there is a lot more to Llahuin than ever previously thought.
They underpin the exploration target of 260mt-340mt (adding to the existing JORC compliant resource of 218mt) towards potential resource scale for a long-life copper operation*.
These results are putting Southern Hemisphere Mining on the list as a notable copper junior portfolio candidate. The follow-up diamond drilling program commences next month.
The Company is now pursuing low-cost options of ore beneficiation to increase the grade of potential material to be processed in line with higher grade material being targeted in the upcoming diamond drilling program.”

All recent drilling results have now been reported and further diamond drilling is planned for September 2026 to further test near surface, targeting higher than resource grade zones like 24LHRD067 and deeper, initially at Ferro South.
The potentially higher grade near surface zones could potentially be combined into a series of starter pits to assist with early project economics. Ore beneficiation testwork to increase grade and reduce tonnes processed is being planned.
